Although Judith and John have tried to stop their border collie, Yarrow, leaving his ball strategically placed outside the cottage door, this has proved somewhat difficult. They have in fact realised that he is one of the main assets of Haute Faye, as he is extremely friendly, does not jump up at people or bark at them, and never makes messes in the grounds. Guests love him, and find his intelligence very amusing!
Puss-Puss also, is a very amusing little character, and will rush around trying to get Yarrow to chase her. She has already
fallen in the swimming pool.

There are now two
new additions to Pets Corner - Megan, the 9 month old Poutou-Charente
donkey, and Darling, a beautiful 12 year old Palamino mare. Both can be seen
grazing in the field just below Haute Faye or looking out of the stable door
in the barn. They are very good companions to each other, and very friendly,
gentle animals.
